In the second quarter of 2024, the personal finance category on Android has seen varied performances among its top players. Sensor Tower provides a detailed analysis of the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these budgeting and planning applications.

Budget planner—Expense tracker by Battery Stats Saver experienced a steady increase in revenue, peaking at $6M in mid-June before dropping to $1M by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a significant spike in late April, reaching 38K, while weekly active users hit a high of 60K in mid-May.

Money manager & expenses from Cleaner + Antivirus + VPN company maintained a stable revenue in the first half of the quarter, with a slight decline towards the end, closing at $2M. The app's downloads and weekly active users saw a downward trend, with downloads starting at 32K and ending at 22K, and active users decreasing from 714K to 659K.

Realbyte Inc.'s Money Manager Expense & Budget showed a decline in revenue from $17M to $5M. Downloads peaked at 32K in late April but then followed a downward slope, finishing at 10K. Weekly active users also dropped from 198K to 163K by the quarter's end.

The Splitwise app saw a notable rise in revenue, reaching $38M in late April, but it experienced a decrease to $13M by late June. Downloads showed a decrease from 25K to 11K, while the weekly active users saw a slight downward trend, starting at 249K and ending at 218K.
